Eurovizijos kicks off – Here are the first qualifiers!

Lithuania are well known for their well-drawn out national finals, and now the nation has begun their newest edition to select their Eurovision 2018 entry. In the first show for the selection, the first 13 acts took to the stage to perform their entries, with only 6 qualifying to the next round.

In previous years the selection has been lengthy, but it seems that perhaps this year’s competition will wrap up in a shorter amount of time, considering that around half of the acts are eliminated in each heat. Despite that, we are expecting the final to take place on the 11th of March, so we still have a long road ahead of us!

Here are the acts that competed in the first heat:

  1. Justin 3 – Born to Be Wild One

  2. Monee – Standing Here

  3. Germantė Kinderytė – Turn it Up

  4. Godo – Fire Fountain

  5. Lukas Norkūnas – Tegu

  6. Meda Meškauskaite – Blood Roses

  7. Benas Malakauskas – My Memories

  8. Milda Rasilavičiūtė – I Think About You
